Call For Service – Finglas South

Call For Service – Finglas South

City of Dublin ETB is seeking submissions from eligible organisations with experience of delivering high-quality, community-based youth work services to young people to establish a new UBU Your Place Your Space funded service in Finglas South with a budget of up to €228,000.

City of Dublin ETB is seeking a provider that is ambitious for young people, committed to partnership, willing to innovate, and capable of delivering high-quality, evidence-informed youth work that responds to both the immediate needs of young people and the longer-term aspirations of the Finglas South community. The successful provider will work collaboratively with the ETB, young people, local communities, schools, statutory agencies and existing youth services to develop a responsive, young person-centred service that complements existing provision, builds on local strengths and continues to evolve in response to emerging needs.

The organisation should:

ü  Exemplify good practice in governance, safeguarding, programme design, compliance, quality assurance and evaluation.

ü  Have experience of delivering community-based youth work with disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable young people aged 10–24 using youth work and non-formal educational methodologies.

ü  Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of young people living in areas of concentrated disadvantage and provide trauma-informed, inclusive and strengths-based responses.

ü  Work collaboratively with City of Dublin ETB, schools, community organisations and statutory partners to complement existing provision and strengthen outcomes for young people.

ü  Operate a young person-centred approach, ensuring services are accessible outside school hours, including evenings, weekends and school holiday periods.

ü  Demonstrate experience of engaging young people who are traditionally underrepresented or less likely to access youth services.

ü  Be committed to continuous learning, reflective practice, innovation and the meaningful participation of young people in shaping services.
