Youth Work Week 2026
From 13th to 27th November 2026, City of Dublin ETB will proudly celebrate Youth Work Week 2026, a dedicated programme of events recognising the creativity, commitment, and impact of youth work across our city.
This year’s celebrations will once again incorporate Oíche na nÓige / Youth Night 2026, taking place from 13th to 20th November, when youth projects, services, and clubs across Ireland open their doors to showcase the power of youth work in their communities.
Throughout the fortnight, City of Dublin ETB-funded youth projects, services, and clubs will host open nights, exhibitions, performances, showcases, and community events, highlighting the positive difference youth work makes every day in the lives of young people.
Our staff will be out visiting projects, supporting activities, and sharing stories and updates from across Dublin as the celebrations unfold.
The celebrations will conclude with the City of Dublin Youth Services: Youth Work Volunteer Achievement Awards 2026 on Friday, 27th November 2026 at 7.00pm at the Aviva Stadium, where volunteers from across the city will be recognised and celebrated for their outstanding contribution to youth work and their communities.
It promises to be a fantastic celebration of young people, youth work, youth workers, and volunteers across Dublin.
